Cornerstone Projects

Silverdale Elim is a church at the heart of the community with a heart for the community.  We serve our community primarily through Cornerstone Community Centres; Silverdale and Knutton, and various other community projects.  Our vision for Cornerstone has been to be a hub particularly for the most vulnerable members of our community. A place where we would see lives changed and our community transformed.

On-site at Cornerstone Silverdale we have a charity shop open Wednesday to Saturday 10am-3pm and a cafe open Wednesday to Friday 10am-1pm.
At Stonewall Industrial Estate, Cornerstone Furniture Sales has a monthly sale of good quality second hand items every second Saturday of the month.
All of our stock and food are extremely reasonably priced, and any profits cover the costs of Cornerstone or are ploughed back into our community.

Also at Cornerstone Silverdale, we have a Computer Club (Wednesdays 10am-12), and Silverlinks Gentle Armchair Exercise class (Mondays 10:15-11:15).  Cornerstone is also home to Silverdale Brownies, Staffordshire Melanoma Support Group (Moles),  Fusion Dance Troupe, Gifted Workshops, Living Word Church and other external organisations.

Cornerstone Silverdale is also home to our Little Fish stay and play group for parents with babies and pre-school children (Tuesdays 9:30-11:30am), Big Fish kids club for ages 5-11 (Fridays 6-7pm) and Fusion Youth club for age 11-16 (Fridays 7:30-9pm).

Cornerstone Knutton is the base for Homestart Newcastle-under-Lyme working with families across the Borough in need of support.  Cornerstone Knutton is also the home of our sister church- the Temple of the Living God Fellowship.

Our church and community centres all have rooms available for hire, please contact us for more information.
